SRAM prestará servicio técnico oficial por segundo año
SRAM, junto a Team Bike, apoyarán la edición 2013 de Andalucía Bike Race con su camión europeo de competición y eventos, la segunda reencarnación del legendario camión SRAM, jubilado en 2011, tras quince años de honorable servicio.
Posee un taller profesional completamente equipado, con material para poner a punto suspensiones, un Hospitality con sala de reunión y cocina y una terraza mirador de 40 m2 en la parte superior. Se tarda casi cuatro horas en preparar por cuatro personas, cubriendo una superficie de 100 m2, donde cuatro puestos de trabajo móviles ofrecen un cómodo ambiente de trabajo para los técnicos de SRAM.
Los mejores Mountain Bikers del mundo conocen el camión SRAM y su equipo está siempre dispuesto a ayudarles en las pruebas más exigentes; ya sea con un ajuste de última hora en sus componentes SRAM o el esencial expresso matinal de su máquina de café.
Cinco mecánicos de SRAM/Team Bike darán soporte técnico gratuito (las piezas se cobrarán aparte), a los participantes cuyas bicis equipen componentes SRAM. Este servicio se realizará tanto a mitad de cada etapa (en el segundo avituallamiento), como en el paddock. ¡Ningún problema mecánico te podrá hacer abandonar la prueba!
El viaje desde Schweinfurt, Alemania (la base del camión), hasta Andalucía Bike Race será de 2.400 km, durará cuatro días y nueve horas, requerirá doce cafés, cuatro Red Bull y ocho litros de agua (para el conductor). El camión irá cargado con todos los recambios necesarios para asistir a cualquiera que equipe productos SRAM, desde profesionales hasta aficionados que participen en la prueba.
¡Aviso de última hora para participantes extranjeros!
Como anunciado en el reglamento de la prueba y acorde a la normativa de la Real Federación Española de Ciclismo (RFEC), los participantes extranjeros poseedores de una licencia de ciclismo no tramitada por la RFEC, deben presentar una autorización escrita de su federación nacional que certifique que su seguro es válido en España.
Tercer año con Okole Stuff
Okole Stuff volverá a proteger a todos los participantes de Andalucía Bike Race por tercer año consecutivo. Este ungüento, evitará rozaduras en las zonas sensibles del Mountain Biker, un elemento básico en pruebas por etapas ésta.
La gran ventaja de este producto es que su base de parafina lo hace inmune a la humedad (agua o sudor), evitando las irritaciones tantas horas como se esté pedaleando. Cada uno de los casi 700 participantes recibirá una muestra que le valdrá para los seis de competición.
Caldo Aneto para reponerse
Todos los participantes de Andalucía Bike Race podrán disfrutar tras cada etapa, de un caldo de pollo caliente cortesía de Aneto Natural. Además encontrarán en su Welcome Pack un Tetra-Brick de 250 ml de caldo de Pollo Aneto Natural y el 23 de febrero, durante la recogida de dorsales y presentación de la prueba, también habrá degustaciones.

SRAM will offer official technical service for second year
SRAM, together with Team Bike, will be supporting the 2013 edition of Andalucia Bike Race with its European Race and Event Support Truck, the second incarnation of the legendary SRAM Truck, retired in 2011, after over fifteen years of honourable service.
It features a fully furnished and stocked professional level workshop, with suspension tuning equipment, a hospitality area with a meeting room and kitchen and a 40 m2 viewing deck on top of the trailer. It takes almost four hours to build with a team of four people, covers a surface of over 100 m2, where four custom built rolling workstations provide a comfortable working environment for SRAM’s race technicians.
The world’s best mountain bikers know the SRAM truck and its staff are always ready to support them in the hardest races, be it with a last minute tweak on their SRAM components or the essential race morning espresso shot from the truck’s coffee machine.
Five SRAM/Team Bike technicians will offer free technical support (spare parts will be charged), to the participants whose bikes are equipped with SRAM components. This service will be offered both half way through each stage (at the second aid station), and at the paddock. No mechanical break downs will make you quit the race!
The trip from Schweinfurt, Germany (the home base of the truck) to Andalucia Bike Race will be 2,400 km long, and will take four days, nine hours, twelve espressos, four Red Bulls, and eight litres of water (for the driver). The truck will be loaded with all the spare parts and replacement parts needed to assist anyone with any SRAM products, from professional to everyday enthusiasts taking part in the competition.
Last minute warning to foreign riders!
As announced on the race’s regulations and according to the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) regulations, foreign participants holding a cycling license not issued by the RFEC, must have a written authorisation from their national cycling federation that certifies that their insurance is valid in Spain.
Third year with Okole Stuff
Okole Stuff will again protect all the Andalucía Bike Race riders for third year in a row. This ointment, avoids chafing in the mountain biker’s most sensible areas, a basic element in stage races such as this one.
The great advantage of this product is its paraffin base which makes it immune to humidity (water or sweat), avoiding the irritations for as many hours as you are pedalling. Each of the nearly 700 participants will receive a sample that will last for the six days of competition.
Aneto soup to recover
All the Andalucía Bike Race participants will be able to enjoy a warm chicken soup after each stage thanks to Aneto Natural. They will also find in their Welcome Pack a 250 ml Tetra-Brick of Aneto Natural Chicken soup and on February 23rd, during registration and the race presentation, will also have some to taste.
